East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) organized a seminar on  “Isolation, Identification And Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing Of Common Respiratory Pathogens Collected From Nasopharynx Of Asymptomatic School Children In The Surrounding Areas Of East West University Of Dhaka City, Bangladesh”  at East West University (EWU) campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka on 12 December 2018. The research proposal was presented by Professor Dr. Sufia Islam, Ms. Nishat Nasrin, Assistant Professor, Ms. Nigar Sultana Tithi, Senior Lecturer, and Ms. Nafisa Tanjia, Senior Lecturer, all from the Department of Pharmacy, EWU. Professor Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Executive Director, EWUCRT read out the comments of a reviewer of the proposal on the occasion.

The seminar was conducted by Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Member, Board of Trustees, EWU and Chairperson of EWUCRT. Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson, Board of Trustees, EWU, Dr. Saidur Rahman Lasker, Board of Trustees, EWU, Professor Dr. Fakrul Alam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, EWU, along with faculty members and students of EWU, officials of EWUCRT, also attended the seminar. A lively question-answer session also held following the session.
