East West University Sociology Club team acquired the position of 1st Runner Up in an Inter-University National Idea Competition 'IdeaQuakes'


An Inter-University National Idea Competition 'IdeaQuakes' Powered by Lagvelki was inaugurated by Jagannath University IT Society happened through an online platform from 30 September, and by a tentative process, it ended with an online winning declaration on 31 October. Students from 36 individual universities participated in this competition. Among the 150 teams, only 3 teams secured the top-ranking positions.

Jagannath University IT Society collaborated with East West University Sociology Club (SCEWU) as a club partner and a representative team of East West University in this competition.

Three students allied with East West University Sociology Club, also students from the Department of Sociology and Department of Law, East West University, acquired the position of 1st Runner Up in this Idea Contest.

These 3 students are Jemima Islam, Adhora Afrin Biswas, and Farah Imrana Karim who shared their experiences in terms of this competition.

Adhora  said, “this type of idea contest is very important for students’ personal skill development and such competitiveness also makes a student prepared for the upcoming future in the job field.”

Two students from EWU Sociology Club named Mashruful Islam Adrito and Tamanna Musa Ava have also participated in this event as the campus ambassadors of East West University.

The president of EWU Sociology Club, Nabila Islam Ridi said, “this type of cooperative collaboration would be very helpful for sound networking and East West University Sociology Club is looking forward to more collaborations in the near future.”
